Performance
Every 2022 Equinox utilizes a turbo 1.5L four-cylinder capable of making 170-horsepower along with 203 pound-feet of torque. The engine mates with a six-speed automatic transmission and a standard-equipped front-wheel driveline. All-wheel drive is available for the 2022 Equinox as well. This SUV can tow up to 1,500 pounds in Broussard and beyond when properly equipped.
Interior & Technology
All models of the new 2022 Equinox have spacious interiors with the latest technology features and equipment. In fact, every trim level comes standard with wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. A 7-inch infotainment touchscreen display is standard, although select 2022 Equinox models upgrade to an 8-inch one. Safety

All trims come outfitted with automatic forward emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and automatic high beams. Pedestrian detection is also included, along with the Teen Driver program. The new Equinox includes additional safety features on select trim configurations, including blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and parking sensors. A hands-free parking assist program is also available, along with a surround-view camera system.
Trim Levels
