Exterior Design
The most notable change to the Tahoe is on the outside. The exterior of the three-row SUV gets a full facelift and is now more visually striking than ever on the roads of Lafayette. The front fascia now offers available animated lighting, so your Tahoe can make a memorable first impression. You can also opt for brand-new wheel design options, including available 24-inch wheels that are sure to catch the eyes of passersby. Even the taillights have been reworked, giving the Tahoe an exciting new appearance from every angle.
Interior Design & Features
As the second-largest Chevy SUV, the Tahoe has plenty of space for passengers and storage alike in New Iberia. The 2025 Tahoe offers the same ample cargo volume as the 2024 model: 25.5 cubic feet with all seats in place, 72.6 cubic feet with the third row of seats folded down, and a cavernous 122.9 cubic feet with both rear rows of seats folded down. The Tahoe also still comes standard with comforts like tri-zone automatic climate control and power-adjustable front seats.
Technology & Safety
The Tahoe infotainment system gets a notable update for the 2025 model year. The 2024 Tahoe's standard eight-inch touchscreen and available 10.2-inch touchscreen are both scrapped. Now, every Tahoe comes standard with a stunning 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen, which pairs with an 11-inch digital instrument display. The infotainment system is now powered by Google's Android operating system, and Google's voice-activated assistance apps are now standard. The Tahoe still comes standard with wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, which make it easy to connect your smartphone to the infotainment setup.
Performance
The 2025 Tahoe gets a couple of tweaks under the hood that Broussard drivers will want to know about. The available 3.0-liter Turbo Diesel I6 engine now generates 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, up from 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque in 2024. The turbo diesel engine is now also available for the off-road-optimized Z71 trim, giving drivers who love the trails the chance to enjoy the potent torque and power that diesel provides. The other two Tahoe engines remain unchanged from 2024 to 2025. The standard 5.3-liter V8 generates 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, while the top-tier High Country trim still gets a 6.2-liter V8 that generates 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Trim Level Changes
As previously mentioned, the off-roading Z71 trim can now be equipped with the updated, more powerful 3.0-liter turbo diesel I6 engine. Air springs are now available for the RST trim after previously only being offered with the Z71 and High Country trims.
