The new inventory 2026 Chevy Silverado comes powered by two high-performing electric motors. As standard, the two electric motors deliver 510 horsepower, with the new Trail Boss trim taking the power up to 725 horsepower. The top-pf-the-range LT trim churns out a maximum output of 760 horsepower and over 780 pound-feet of torque.
Besides the all-electric performance, the 2026 Silverado EV can tow upwards of 12,500 pounds, with a payload capacity of up to 2,100 pounds. Regarding range and charging, the Work Truck trim offers an expansive range of over 490 miles. Other models, including the Trail Boss and LT, offer up to over 470 miles in range when properly equipped.
When charging, the Silverado EV offers fast charging options that charge the battery from 10 percent to 90 percent in under an hour. Further, you can add a 100-mile range in 10 minutes when using a public DC fast charging station.
